Position Overview

This position will be responsible for designing, proposing and developing innovative, scalable solutions, in compliance with security standards, which deliver business value for enterprise technology infrastructure solutions. This role will have a particular focus on:

  • Creating and reviewing current & proposed solution architectures
  • Identifying and creating mediation plans for compliance issues
  • Leading standards, policy and process development
  • Enterprise M365 architecture
  • Enterprise Cloud architecture
  • Common enterprise solutions architecture around storage and compute platforms

  • Experience collaborating with other architects and IT professionals in developing strategic plans, standards, procedures and programs around enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to a diverse audience, including non-technical personnel.

Duties, Functions And Responsibilities

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

Develops system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures. Communicates with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements. Provides advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes. Documents design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Verifies stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Collaborates with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Evaluates current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. Provides technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Identifies system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Provides guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams. Investigates system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use.
