Telecommunications Engineer

TITLE: Telecom Engineer

SHIFT: 8am-5pm EST

We are looking for a Telecom Engineer who has implementation and configuration experience with Cisco Contact Center. This is a newly created role due to demand and you will have an opportunity to work across a good section of IT infrastructure instead of being siloed into just Telecom.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement, install, and configure Cisco Contact Center for new sites
• Set up CVP for call routing through contact center
• Provide light support for Cisco products that are connected to the telecom system throughout the enterprise. You will learn more about this as you get acclimated into the role
• Log into Windows Servers where telecom applications are running in order to perform high-level troubleshooting
• Work as part of a team in order to solve a variety of IT infrastructure and telecom-related problems
• Play a key role in an upcoming migration to the Cisco contact center cloud

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of overall IT experience with expert-level knowledge of Cisco Contact Center and CVP
• Knowledge of OR a desire to learn intermediate-level infrastructure administration skills such as supporting Cisco products, Windows Server, and virtualization
• Must be willing to do what’s required to get things done. Someone who wants to be siloed and stay in their comfort zone will not be a fit for this
• Experience with Cisco Contact Center Cloud is a plus but not required
• Must be able to work 100% remotely, be coachable, and have the desire to learn
