Aerial Foreman – Telecommunications Construction

Holtger Bros., Inc. is seeking an experienced aerial foreman to lead OSP fiber projects in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Monday-Friday work schedule and home on the weekends for a healthy balance of work and home.

Responsibilities
-Outside plant construction (all aspects) new build, maintenance, lash and overlash, fiber, coax, fiber optic cable, and pole transfers

-Supervising the work crew consisting of 1-2 members

-Planning the most efficient and effective work order in order to perform tasks on a daily and weekly basis.

-Identifying, communicating, and troubleshooting problems on the job site and is responsible for the quality or work as well as creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image on the job site.

Preferred Qualifications
-Two years of lineman experience including working out of a bucket truck, climbing poles, and working from a ladder
-One year supervisory experience
-Ability to read and understand telephone and CATV prints
-Willing to travel (primarily in Southern WI) Monday-Friday (home weekends, if not nightly)
-Insurance-acceptable driver’s license- Class A CDL preferred/able to obtain
-Previous training in utility safety standards
-Able to work in an outside environment in variable weather conditions
