Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide.

This position’s primary role is to assist our coop clients with implementation and ongoing support of Business Operations in the provision of broadband and voice services. This role requires a consultative background as the responsibilities include interfacing with our wholesale voice provider and being the primary contact for Conexon coop customers as they are launching and developing best practices for ongoing operations. The candidate must have a solid telecommunications background in billing, regulatory, or provisioning.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective communication to team members, customers, vendors, internal staff, and the management team.

  • Provide consultative services, including products, rate centers, and business processes expertise.

  • Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
  • Possess the ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated, and that all projects are delivered successfully.
  • Ensure that project objectives and requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholders
  • Work with customers to launch, operate, and grow telecommunications services including but not limited to:

    • Billing Setup and Testing
    • Launch of services and business process creation
    • Regulatory and tax filings

11. Provide consultative services to clients as described in Conexon’s typical scope of work including but not limited to:

  • Telecom business process, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Business process and procedure integration into operations.

12. General duties:

  • Occasional presentations and onsite client visits
  • Weekly progress calls with Conexon team and clients
  • Review deliverables before final delivery to client


Position Qualifications:

  • Telecommunications business operations experience required
  • Experience developing project plans and leading resources to meet plan deliverables
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in a clear and straightforward manner, with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to efficiently use a personal computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / SharePoint)
  • Customer Care, billing, or regulatory experience preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Normal office conditions, some irregular hours may be required. Majority of time spent on the computer and phone.
