A leading Business Support Systems(BSS)/Operational Support Systems(OSS) software company with its corporate headquarters in South Carolina is looking for a Corporate Attorney or Negotiator to fill its job opening for the position of Vice President – Revenue and Regulatory Assurance. The company has a concentration in the telecommunications industry, but also provides services in several other utility industries.

Job Summary

Responsible for optimizing pricing and price structure of the products and services, as well as insuring correct billing and contract interpretation. Prepare, negotiate, and review various company contracts, including vendor lease purchases, customer sales, and business partnerships. Must perform duties with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Reports to the Corporate CFO.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Continuously investigate new & innovative pricing structures to optimize revenue, profitability, and revenue assurance. Develop scenarios and present recommendations for improvement to the executive team.
• Lead operational and strategic planning, testing, and revenue objectives of pricing tiers for all products and services
• Develop, implement, and deploy tactical pricing to support revenue objectives while ensuring alignment with market trends
• Perform review and audit of first billing for all new customers
• Analyze contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits, while ensuring compliance with the law.
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Analysis and interpretation of access billing tariffs to assure correct application of customer access billing rates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of company

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or law degree preferred.

Experience in supervision and management of both employees and other resources to achieve standards of excellence. Strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company.

Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record to drive rental vehicles if necessary.

Must be a self-motivated, people oriented individual with highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, who is comfortable making presentations to large or small groups and with extemporaneous speaking when necessary.

Extensive knowledge of telecommunications industry including knowledge of both wireline and wireless industries.

Must be able to project and maintain an image of integrity, dependability, and professionalism in all business relationships, both internal and external.
