Responsibilities:

The main role of the Drops Coordinator is to maintain daily contact with Comcast and other clients regarding invoicing and closing out work orders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review requests for drop service or repair
  • Issue weekly jobs and Purchase orders to work crews and sub contractors and explain projects as needed as well as provide permits if required
  • Review completed work orders for materials and labor costs
  • Review associated invoices for completed work orders and approve or deny for payment
  • Data entry into multiple software programs to include: Comcast Job Tracking, Drops Bury System and Invoice System.
  • Daily communication with Comcast and sub-contractors regarding work order
  • Onsite or remote support for work crews and sub contractors servicing these projects.
  • Plan drawings for updates as needed for permitting of specific projects
  • Daily filing of invoices

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings and diagrams for project build process
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc
  • Comcast Job Tracking System
  • Drop Bury System
  • Underground certified
  • Fiber and RF Network knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work with different departments and both internal and external work crews and managers
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-past environment
  • Must possess valid (Class C) Drivers license, with good driving record.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer. Must be able to perform physical activities (lifting heavy equipment up to 50lbs unassisted, bending, standing, climbing, or walking)
