Senior Acquisitions Surveyor – Manchester

Our client, a UK leading Infrastructure Delivery Consultancy is urgently looking for a Senior Acquisition Surveyor to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of an established team working on a wide variety of projects, identifying and assessing sites for the development of large scale telecommunication and energy schemes.
Qualifications: It is anticipated that the successful Senior Acquisitions Surveyor will have demonstrable experience in the sector, with telecoms, renewables or industrial project experience, a relevant Surveying, Planning or Construction degree (or equivalent), RICS membership and a full UK drivers licence.
Duties
Undertaking site searches and checking the quality of searches produced by junior colleagues
Using numerous MS applications for communicating and reporting;
Reporting to clients using their online tools (databases)
Finding, retrieving and interrogating information from client tools/ databases
Reading Leases and Licences to ascertain and report their terms
Keeping an up to date knowledge of relevant property law as it applies to Leases and Licences
Attending site visits to find solutions or meet the clients representative
Interpretating information from plans and leases
Drafting documentation to send to Landowners and/or site providers
Negotiating terms and acquire rights access to sites and leases for new sitesIn return the company are offering:
