Role: Enterprise Architect
Location: Hybrid / UK Based (Preferably south)
Role Purpose:

Reporting into to the Head of Business Change, we are looking for a business savvy ‘Enterprise Architect’ with solid Salesforce experience to lead our Solutions Team. This is a very exciting opportunity to play a key role driving digital transformation across all aspects of our business and make a material contribution towards our growth.
We’re looking for someone with a real passion for CX & thirst for change. The ideal candidate will become a senior member of the Change Leadership Team & must demonstrate the skills, confidence & personality to really contribute to our journey – providing clarity around best practice, help guide / facilitate critical decisions & ensuring we add business value at every step.
Key Accountabilities:
Architecture / Governance:
Design and evolution of our systems architecture (including standards), applications portfolio (capability model) and underpinning data model across the full customer lifecycle
Design and integrity of our end-end customer journeys and underpinning business processes (level 1-3) to achieve operational excellence
Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities.
Prioritisation / Strategic Alignment:
Gatekeeper & overall ‘Product Owner’ for all change requests submitted from the business. Instil mechanisms to help prioritise change initiatives and provide support with ROI modelling and business case development (where warranted)
Problem Solving / Delivery:
Help mature our approach to problem solving through the application of best practice methodologies (‘Design Thinking’ & ‘Agile’ ways of working) to ensure the design of practical, sustainable solutions that maximise ROI and realise business benefits asap.
Development of a management dashboard / framework to ensure all change initiatives are outcome focused, measurable and demonstrate linkage to our program, operational and business KPI’s / OKR’s
Manage, mentor and develop a small team of business / solution analysts to develop a high performing capability, promote career development and orchestrate succession planning.
Key Relationships:
Building and maintaining healthy, productive relationships with key internal/external stakeholders across the business will be essential. These include:
Gamma Direct SLT
Peers across the Change Leadership Team
Develop & nurture relationships with key business stakeholders across the Direct business to ascertain key requirements / objectives & facilitate the agreement of solutions.
Build & nurture relationships / processes with peers from our 3rd party solution partners (including Gamma ‘Group’ functions) to ensure the effective & efficient design/delivery of solutions.
Some peer-to-peer engagement with our tier 1 customers will be required to support service design / transition and underlying systems integration.
Person Specification:
We’re looking for an established Enterprise / Solutions Architect (5 + years’ experience) with evidence of architecting & implementing solutions that have delivered tangible business benefit across both premise/cloud-based & legacy systems.
You should have a real passion for CX, hands on problem solving and the personality to inspire stakeholders across the whole business to drive innovation/continual improvement
Education/Qualifications: Architectural Frameworks (TOGAF etc.)
- Any practitioner or coaching qualifications surrounding ‘Agile’ or ‘Design Thinking’
- Will be desired to have ITIL Service Design & Implementation
- Salesforce Service and/or Sales Cloud Certifications (Ideally Comms Cloud)
- Advanced Administrator
- Platform Developer I/II
- Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud consultant
Experience/Skills:
- Proven experience developing systems architecture (inc. data modelling) underpinning major business & digital transformation projects that delivered tangible results
- Proven experience of capability modelling, mapping customer journeys & underlying business processes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills (people, process, systems)
- Demonstrate ‘getting to the nub’ of business problems / issues quickly
- Results driven with a pragmatic approach
- Demonstrate tactical / strategic thinking to solutioning inc. challenging existing ways of working
- Extensive experience applying both Design Thinking & Agile ways of working to underpin problem solving / delivery
- Experience of leading, mentoring & developing a team of business/solution analysts
Will be desired to have:
- Experience designing / implementing CPQ & / or complex systems integration programs
- Experience of implementing CommsCloud or Salesforce Industries (previously Vlocity) particularly advantageous
- Practical implementation of ITIL
- Experience of developing business cases that have been successfully approved
Further relevant information:
Travel between sites will be a requirement for this role.
