Project Coordinator
Cannon Companies is looking to add a new team member to our team. We are looking for qualified applicants with a construction or telecommunication background.
This position earns a competitive hourly wage of $23-$30 per hour, DOE.
Reporting to: Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) Project Management Team
Project Coordinator Essential Functions: Supports Project Management group through the coordination of planning and logistical functions directly and indirectly related to the delivery of services to the customer.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with project documentation, tracking, reporting and analysis to ensure customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a detail-orientated individual that can ensure that each project is completed on time and at or under budget.
Support JBLM Project Managers
Assist with project execution by documenting, tracking and reporting
Assist Project Managers with Purchase Order and Sub-contract processing
Maintain accurate project documentation
Assist in transitioning from Bid/Proposal to Project Plan
Coordinate logistics related to project execution with customers, vendors and Cannon company resources
Analyze existing processes and procedures and make recommendations regarding improvements
Customer interaction and correspondence, manage scheduling and access for construction resources
Assist in creating O&M manuals and product submittal packages
Other duties as assigned
Project Coordinator Requirements:
Ability to gain access to military installations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
Strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools.
Microsoft Office Suite (2010 and above, must be able to generate customized reports and complex data)
Ability to create and modify scheduling software such as Microsoft project or P6
Prefer RMS systems background
Strong organizational and filing skills
Understanding and experience in the construction industry, is required. Telecommunication or utility experience is desired.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be able to pass background check and drug test
