Field Technician

Urgently Hiring!!

Toledo Field Technician 6–9-month contract, the possibility of an extension

Due to the increased volume of work, this client has added another position. Our client has a large project on the OH turnpike and requires a reliable and experienced Field Service Technician to join their team.

Work is on the road, but you will be home every night.

Must be located within 25 minutes of Toledo, OH

**On call rotation for 24 hours shift every 1 week out of every 3 weeks**

**Will work 6 days per week, so lots of overtime is available**

What you’ll do:

· Work out in the field daily working on failed electronics equipment and software issues

· Install, repair, resolve issues and maintain equipment on the OH turnpike

· Physically able to lift up to 75lbs and bend, walk, etc.

· Able to work outdoors at least 60% of the time

What you’ll bring:

· Experience working with/installing/configuring 12V/24V electronics, fiber optics experience is a huge asset

· Skilled in electronics, computers, equipment assembly and maintenance (alarm systems, cabling, telecommunications experience or similar)

· Diploma/certificate in electronics technology or similar

· Able to undergo and pass a background check, and drug screen and have a clean driver abstract

· Good computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call

• Weekend availability

• Toledo, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Electronics & computer: 2 years (Required)
• Field Technician: 2 years (Required)
