Telecommunications/Wireless/RF Construction Manager

Communication Component Systems, Incorporated, a telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced telecommunications Construction Manager in the NJ/NY market.

Office located in S. Hackensack, NJ. Daily Commute a must.

Responsibilities:

· Highly involved in the field on a daily basis to monitor construction activities.

· Participate in physical labor if required and/or needed to support construction activities.

· Assist with site and field walks.

· Travel the NJ/NY Metro area to support, facilitate multiple construction crews and sites.

· Support and assist foremen’s, technicians and/or subcontractors.

· Communicate daily with clients on current & pending projects in process.

· Requesting quotes and ordering materials from various vendors.

· Attend conference calls and participate in project meetings.

· Create daily and weekly schedules to support the management team.

· Coordinating, supporting and facilitating final inspections of projects as required.

· Ability to request COI documents as needed and/or supporting documents.

· Arrange/schedule construction testing and engineering services.

· Climb ladders over 30 feet on rooftops, water tanks and buildings – utilizing a safety harness.

· Ensure each job site remains safe, clean and orderly (housekeeping).

· Monitor and assist with field productivity, cost control and scheduling.

· Perform daily task and duties as needed/assigned.

Qualifications

· Ability to travel is required

· Previous telecom construction management experience is required

· Valid driver’s license (required)

· Work authorization (required)

· Experience with Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, DISH Wireless, etc.

· Experience with multiple client data transfer platforms/portals. I.e., FUZE, Ariba, N1, Scopeworker, etc.

· Must have; experience managing, supporting crews and subcontractors throughout all phases of construction.

· Willing and able to get hands dirty. We are looking for a “working” manager that can assist in the field.

· Experienced foreman, electricians, and/or construction trade level work are encouraged to apply.

· BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management and/or related field is preferred but not required

· Travel on a daily bases with the New Jersey, NYC and Westchester areas.

· Climb ladders and assist with the use of construction equipment.

· Lift 50 lbs – Equipment and or materials.

· Accommodate deadline work – sometimes needed on weekends.

· OSHA 10 certification – Required

· OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required

· Have legal right to work in the United States

· First Aid Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
