People Incorporated is looking for a dynamic Network Administrator. This position in conjunction with the outside consultant is responsible for providing the vision, leadership, planning, and management of information technology systems and services. The Network Administrator will work with the outside consultant to set the strategic direction and be personally involved with the practical implementation of information-technology and data-security initiatives across all areas of development, acquisition, implementation, and support. The employee participates in activities that enhance employee retention and aligns work efforts with a strong focus on the Agency mission and our four key indicators – Quality, Employee Recognition and Reward, Growth, and Profitability – to guide our long-term planning and permeate every aspect of our daily activities to ensure success is attained and growth is accomplished.”

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established goals with the outside consultant when needed
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems with the outside consultant when needed to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all programs to determine their technology needs.
  • Collaborate with the outside consultant in leading and coordinating the selection, installation, operation, support, and maintenance of our information technology infrastructure (i.e., operating systems, networks, telecommunications, hardware, and peripherals).
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify and discuss with outside consultant the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report recommendations to upper management.
  • Involved in agency department budgets surrounding IT needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Protect the company and its operations with appropriate support from consulting company and software against IT risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity problems, loss of processing capability, and poor service levels.
  • Manage IT database and tracking of all agency IT equipment.
  • Manage Ticket systems (IT, Facilities, and Vehicle) maintenance.
  • Monitor internal servers to ensure proper function.
  • Manage users, groups, and security policy.
  • Monitor security camera systems.
  • Monitor Network, VPN and Connections, with appropriate software and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory experience in IT or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in analysis, implantation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
  • Experience in controlling budget.
  • Organization and leadership skills.
  • Experience with local and wide-area networks including monitoring and security.
  • Experience with cloud systems and functions.
  • Experience with Window Server and Desktop operating systems.
  • A qualifying criminal background check, driving record and a valid driver’s license required.
