Telecom Aerial Lineman: Utility contracting is seeking a full-time Telecom Aerial Lineman who is interested in building a long-term career in the telecommunications industry. This job is on-site throughout the state of Michigan.

Telecom Aerial Lineman Pay & Perks:

● $14.00 – $23.00 per hour based on experience

Telecom Aerial Lineman Qualifications:

● Must be able to lift 50 to 100lbs

● Clean Insurable driving record

● Must be able to obtain a CDL medical card within 90 days of hire

● Must be willing to work overtime, be on-call, and travel

● Must be team-oriented

Telecom Aerial Lineman Duties:

● Placement of fiber optic & coax cables

● Climbing

● Working on aerial spans

● Lashing cable, applying tension to cable

● Understanding of separation and clearance regulations

● Ability to safely operate a bucket truck

● Preform daily maintenance on all jobsite equipment and vehicles

● Utilize standard telecommunications tools

● Demonstrate good judgment in the field

● Work as a team in tandem with the crew foreman and other crew members

● Perform all duties adhering to company safety procedures and policies

We provide construction services that include: Vacuum excavation, Locating, Fiber splicing, Aerial placing/wrecking, Directional drilling, Plowing, and much more. Pay: $14.00 – $23.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CDL A (Preferred)
