Job Summary:
The Job Foreman is responsible for supervising all aspects of assigned telecommunications projects and ensuring that work is performed in a timely, profitable & safe manner, while also meeting or exceeding the Company’s quality and customer service standards. Essential functions include planning, mobilizing, supervising, completing, and testing project phases & activities as a “working manager;” executing and enforcing Company policies & procedures, project contract provisions & specifications, along with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting assigned construction projects; managing, training & evaluating employees & contract laborers under his/her direct supervision; coordinating with the Project Manager, Purchasing Manager, and other Company personnel regarding job resources, such as labor, equipment, small tools, materials & supplies usage; preparing and submitting reports on a timely basis; make sure pictures of the job site and construction are taken regularly, are complete and filed with the job file; monitoring and measuring daily and weekly job progress to determine that the project is on schedule/budget, and reviewing job progress and completed job cost report on completed projects for areas of improvement. This position is also responsible for preventive maintenance, operation, proper tag-out, employee training, and security of all assigned tools & equipment, along with proper storage & handling of assigned tools, equipment, parts, materials & supplies.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, or repair low-voltage systems and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans
- Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine material requirements and installation procedures
- Communicate job needs and overall progress with supervisor
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements
- When necessary, use critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain operational details
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair low-voltage cabling, equipment, or fixtures
- Complete all company safety requirements and paperwork punctually
- Attend staff meetings and company wide meetings
- Other duties the company may require for this position
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and leadership with technicians and project managers
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper phone and email etiquette
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Maintain a clean appearance and representation of the company
- Maintain a punctual schedule as required
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 – 10 years Commercial Low Voltage Experience with the management of small to medium size crews
- Ability to splice, test and terminate Fiber
- Experience terminating high count copper
- CCTV
- A/V
- Access Control
- Security
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to climb ladders, crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for extended periods, and lift heavy objects
- Must be able to work outside in all conditions when needed
- Ability to travel when needed
