The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Comcast Network and Connectivity Team (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.
About the Team:
Part of a group focused on delivering key strategic initiatives focused on access network engineering, operationalization of new concepts, architectures, products and support of strategic deployments driving increased customer and employee experiences alike.
This role is instrumental in planning, creating, and reshaping technical concepts, and papers, pertinent to Comcast, into understandable technical documents and training.

What You’ll Do:
Collaborates and consults with Comcast Network and Connectivity Teams (CONNECT) to develop and maintain technical documentation related to construction and operations of Comcast Next Generation access networks.
Plan, create, edit and reshape technical concepts and papers, pertinent to Comcast, into understandable technical documents.
Creates documents and specifications related to new products, system architectures and designs within engineering projects and initiatives.
Maintain, evolve and publish technical documentation for Outside Plant, Inside Plant and the Access Network that will be utilized by various organizations to effectively implement critical projects.
Uses advanced engineering skills and knowledge to solve complex development problems and achieve engineering goals.
Documents work processes and practical application of technical standards.
Utilizes resources to solve moderate development problems and recommends new practices or processes to management.
Integrate content as illustrations, graphs, infographics, tables, figures, flow charts, etc.
Research user feedback for revisions and improvements to technical content as required.
Collaborate with Comcast Network and Connectivity (CONNECT) engineering teams and cross-functional teams to collect and incorporate specific technical concepts and requirements into the document.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
7-10 years in the Cable / Telecom industry in similar roles
Experience in the following technical spaces: Network Design & Engineering, MSOs Architectures (multiple-system operators), HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) networks, DAA (Distributed Access Architecture), EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network), Fiber Optic Networking, Broadband Networks, etc.
Construction Related: Plant Design & Construction
Strong experience in writing operations manuals and product specification writing
Strong experience in Microsoft Word, Visio and Adobe Acrobat
A self-starter who demonstrates critical thinking, self-motivation, courage, and curiosity.
Ability to partner with functional teams to influence and drive alignment.
An aptitude for technology and thrives in solving complex problems.
A natural inclination to work collaboratively, to be transparent, and seek and give feedback continuously.
Thrive under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable and responsive.

Salary:
Pay Range: $101,699.24 – $152,548.86
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
