Outdoor B2B Sales Telecommunications Salesperson (Oil & Gas Industry)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue in the oil & gas industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including oil & gas operators and contractors.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold-calling, networking, and market research.
- Present the company’s telecommunications solutions to potential clients, effectively demonstrating their benefits and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate and close sales deals with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and continuously seek out ways to improve the company’s products and services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outdoor B2B sales, preferably in the telecommunications or oil & gas industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions to complex challenges.
- High level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving record with ability to travel frequently and work in challenging outdoor environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required

They will be responsible for handling assigned accounts and interacting with established customers while performing follow-up appointments. This position requires oilfield sales experience and general knowledge of the company’s policies, products/services and their application.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Performs visits to rig/company personnel multiple times per month
- Keeps an accurate schedule of rental days and turns in reports to appropriate office personnel
- Completes and maintains weekly reports
- Communicates with customers and company personnel to discuss any issues
- Works with administrative personnel to complete tickets and paperwork
- Responsible for attending all safety related meetings and following all safety regulations and guidelines
- Responsible for conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times including personal appearance and interaction with customers
- Responsible for knowledge of drilling schedules and to establish possible future sales opportunities.
Essential Qualifcations / Requirements Oilfield sales experience is required
- Strong verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships, both internal and external
- Knowledge of basic office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
