Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician

Plateau has immediate openings for a full-time Network Operations Center Technician for our Clovis, NM Headquarters location.

The Network Operations Center (NOC) is responsible for 24x7x365 monitoring, maintenance, and operations of various telecommunications service delivery network elements. Examples of network elements include voice switch and voice mail system, access tandem, fiber and copper access equipment, Operator Services systems, optical transport network, and fixed wireless network.

Minimum requirements to apply include intermediate-level knowledge and experience of IP networking, superior organizational skills and attention to detail; proficient computer/ keyboarding skills; and an aptitude for learning new software applications. The ability to handle multiple activities occurring simultaneously in multiple systems, work well in a fast-paced team environment, and ensure timely and accurate data entry is also required.

The schedule for this position will rotate every three months between 8am to 5pm and either 4pm to 12am or 12am to 8am, depending on shift availability. Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime and callout hours as needed in order to meet the operational needs of the department is required.
