Job Duties

The Virginia Tax Office of Technology is seeking a Telecommunications Technician Specialist to support the Agency’s goals by managing and administrating TAX’s wireless and other telecommunications infrastructure, applications, and services.

This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.

The anticipated hiring range is up to $72,000, commensurate with experience.

Virginia Tax, headquartered in Richmond, is responsible for administering 37 state and local taxes, sales and use taxes, and miscellaneous excise taxes with integrity, efficiency, and consistency. Virginia Tax works directly with individual and business taxpayers and local governments to ensure the Commonwealth’s revenue is collected and taxes administered with fairness, diligence, and integrity.


Minimum Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience repairing, configuring, deploying iPhones and iPads

At least 6 months experience configuring and supporting Microsoft InTune MDM, Google MDM or other MDM


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience at a Cell Phone Store/Apple Store as a support technician

Customer Service/Helpdesk Support experience

Apple Certifications
