Tower Rigger – Field Operations Virtual Hiring Event

The Tower Rigger is responsible for building and maintaining communication towers, the safe installation of steel structures and wireless communication components, performing general ground procedures associated with installation, working with various antenna and transmission lines, identifying and selecting appropriate equipment for specific installations, and climbing and working on poles, towers, and ladders or other support structures up to 750 feet.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining communication towers
• Safe installation of steel structures and wireless communication components
• Performing general procedures associated with installation
• Working with various antenna and transmission lines
• Climbing and working on poles, towers, and ladders or other support structures up to 500 feet

Requirements:

• Experience working on communication towers
• Experience in Telecommunications industry
• Familiarity and experience with tower erection
• Construction or rigging experience
• Post-secondary education in a technology related program
• Able and willing to work out of town
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Clean Criminal Background
• The ability to pass a Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Test
