Interested in a challenging and constantly evolving environment learning and supporting the latest desktop hardware and operating systems? This position serves as a desktop architect and Configuration Manager (MECM) administrator within the Health and Human Services (HHS) IT Delivery Center.
This is a highly technical position that provides critical services within the Health and Human Services IT Delivery Center (HHS) managing over 20,000 workstations for some of the Commonwealth’s largest agencies. Network Specialist 2 is deeply involved in the design, engineering, and implementation of the desktop image and will also work closely with our project management team to plan and support the continuous hardware refresh cycle. Duties involve the development and continuous maintenance of software application deployments, scripts and patches utilizing the Enterprise Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You will be expected to work from home (telework) but this could change and you may be required to come into the office, headquartered at 2525 North 7th Street, Harrisburg. You must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Although this is a telework position, you will be required to come to the Harrisburg office to pick up your equipment. Other reasons for coming into the office include: changes to the current telework that would require staff to come into the office, to attend training, mandatory meetings or on an ad hoc basis. Your supervisor will give you at least a 24 hour notice and all travel will be at your own expense. Parking is located at the building and is free.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance; or
- Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of experience as a Network Specialist 1; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance.
Other Requirements:

This particular positions also requires the following:
- One or more years of full-time experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM); or
- One or more years of full-time experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT); or
- One or more years of full-time experience with Microsoft Intune.
