Telecommunications Analyst

SunPlus Data Group is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst to work for a State Government facility in Madison, WI.

This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend

Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week

Pay is $38/hr W2 hourly or $42/hr 1099 (CTC)

**(THIS POSITION IS MOSTLY REMOTE, BUT WILL REQUIRE OFFICE VISITS AS NEEDED ON A WEEKLY BASIS, MANDATORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) **

It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, to inform you of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.

Job Summary:

The State of WI is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst with documented experience. The Telecommunications Analyst will provide technical assistance in supporting and preparing telecom technologies, primarily focused on mobile device management, deployment, and maintenance.

• Working knowledge of Telecommunication concepts such as SIP, H323, and other VoIP technologies
• Working knowledge of and experience with networking, mobile, and desktop technologies including, but not limited to, desktop operating systems, tablets, and smartphones (iOS and Android).
• Knowledge of Cisco networking and troubleshooting
• Video Conferencing infrastructure and endpoints management
• Unified Communications Systems (PBX, ACD, etc.)
• Mobile device support and Management
• Networking Concepts

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour
