Southeast Utilities of Georgia (“SEU”) offers full-service construction, repair and emergency services related to Cable TV, Telephone, Fiber-Optic communications, and Power construction including underground trenching, plowing, missile and directional boring and aerial construction. Job Summary:

Lineman provides the needed services for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the customer’s electrical distribution system

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

· Installing, maintaining, operating, and repairing overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines.

· Position requires operation of a Bucket truck following all safety and traffic regulations (after passing safety course).

· Assisting with pole framing and placement of stands.

· Climbing poles is required.

· Must operate hand and power tools of all types.

· Assisting with installation of guys and anchor.

· All the while ensuring all installation work is done according to quality standards.

Requirements:

· Valid Driver’s License

· Pass background check; no DUIs or felonies

· Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends

· Willing to travel on short notice, Southeast region of the US

· Willing to work in inclement weather

· Must not be averse to height
