Network/Telecom Architect

CHD is looking for an organized and proactive Network and Telecom Architect to oversee the design configuration and security of the agency’s extensive WAN/LAN and Telecom infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, and show the ability to work as part of a team and feel equally confident working independently. This is an in office position with some flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for network and telecom security, provides technical guidance on networking solutions, design technology roadmaps, develop and delivery of professional proposals.

• Partner with vendors to evaluate, design and implement network and telecom infrastructure as well as problem resolution.

• Knowledge of Telecom/VOIP cloud infrastructure

• Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and designs. Define policies and procedures and help educate users and administrators.

• Research new technologies for future needs of the agency and cross train teammates.

• Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot network impacting outages.

Requirements:

The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task. A good understanding of both technical and business skills and work in collaboration with other technical teams and executive management.

Preferred:

Experience with physical network capabilities (Fiber, CAT6E, Routers, Switches and Firewalls)

Experience with VOIP and other telecom systems
