*Applicants with experience in the following fields will make a smooth transition into this position and are encouraged to apply; Industrial maintenance, HVAC on-site service tech, Electrician/Journeyman/Journeywoman (service call based) (PLC training a plus), Telecommunication (specializing in communication & hook-up, hardware-based computer experience). Well-rounded applicants with mechanical aptitude are also encouraged to apply. *Basic hand tools are required.

What we ask of you:

· Perform repair, preventive maintenance, and occasional installation of residential & commercial fitness equipment.

· Perform service in a timely manner

· Perform service, diagnose, and repair fitness equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, recumbent bikes, single/multi-stack weight systems, etc.

· Order, track, and return parts when required.

· Complete work orders using the mobile app software and/or a PC/Scan to upload documents when required.

· Update work order statuses and complete work orders according to company procedures.

· Communicate with the office staff to facilitate accurate & timely completion of work orders.

· Maintain a technical proficiency level with old and new equipment through manufacturer training, reading manuals, networking with other service technicians, and online training videos.

· BASIC HAND TOOLS (including but not limited to: Sockets, Wrenches, Pliers, Channel Locks, Snap Ring Pliers, Screw Drivers, a Drill, etc.)

WORKING CONDITION:

· We offer 4-day work weeks to ensure every employee has time to spend with their family and have a life outside of work.

· We also do our best to have everyone home every night to ensure a healthy home life.

· Training is provided for

  • Mobile app software
  • Specialized equipment services
  • General procedures related to manufacturer guidelines of service
  • Continued education

· Company Vehicle is provided

· Frequent travel outside of a 60-mile radius will be required.

· Possible overnight trip (rare)

· Possible evening and/or weekend work is required (BUT VERY RARE)

· Bending, heavy lifting (100 lbs), squatting, standing, repetitive movements, and kneeling are necessary to service and repair fitness equipment in all types of residential and gym environments.

· All employee begins on a ninety (90) day probationary period. Once the probationary period ends you will receive an evaluation to determine the next level of compensation.

· As some locations of service include schools, state institutions, government facilities, residential homes, etc. background checks are required for all applicants.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
