Cable Installation Technician

Description:

This project is calling for a Cable Technician to help with installing Telecom equipment and cables. We need techs that are very familiar with installing and terminating Cat5 Cable, Cat 6 Cables, installing WAP, paging systems, and Cameras. Techs need to be able to operate a lift.

The working environment would be in school buildings. The majority of the work would be performed on lifts at heights of 20 plus feet. Looking for a reliable technician with diverse knowledge of the telecommunications cabling industry. Traveling around the Lenexa KS area.

2nd shift 3P-MIDNIGHT

This is a long-term project that could last a couple of years working on building a good team. During the school year, this is a 2nd shift project, during summer it is a day project. This is working with the school systems so we have to work around the school schedule. The techs will need to know how to dress in cat6 cabling to IDF/MDF racks, pull cat6 cables, Terminate cat6 cables and test cat6 cables.

Cat 5, Cat 6, Fiber, Pull, Termination, Punchdown, WAP, Wireless Access Points, Access Control, Door Contacts, Card Readers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must work well with others, comfortable working on lifts, not afraid of heights
