Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales and Operations Manager to oversee the sales and operations of our cable management division. The Sales and Operations Manager will drive sales growth by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and building solid customer relationships.

Additionally, the Sales and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cable management division, including managing projects, scheduling resources, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and implementing quality control processes and standards. This role reports directly to the COO of Encompass Technology.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and operations management and experience in the cable management industry.

Standards:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the cable management division to meet sales targets.

  • Develop and manage sales teams to achieve sales goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to drive customer retention and acquisition, achieving greater than 4.5-star google reviews.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities and stay current with industry trends.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the cable management division, including managing projects, scheduling resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement quality control processes and standards to ensure that cable management services meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with other teams such as IT, facilities, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of cable infrastructure into other organizational systems.

  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the cable management division.

  • KPIs to be delivered weekly to ensure that the cable management division’s operations are running efficiently and effectively by analyzing performance metrics and implementing process improvements.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cable management products, technologies, and competition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and operations management, preferably in the cable management industry.

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing sales teams.

  • Strong knowledge of cable management systems, tools, and processes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of sales and operations professionals.

  • Knowledge of cable management market and competition.

  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating resources for cable management projects.

  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience implementing quality control processes and standards.

  • Knowledge of the BICSI standards and Leviton systems a plus
