Telecom Project Engineer

Exciting Permanent hire role for a Project Engineer with a Telecom background

Must be local to NYC market – working largely remote with some site visits

Responsibilities:

• Take a lead role for Macro, Small Cell and Fiber builds across the Five Boroughs of NY
• Supervise, manage and perform quality analysis and quality control for team of engineers in the production of structural analysis reports, design drawings, construction drawings, cost estimates
• Bring knowledge and understanding of permitting processes in the NYC market
• Assist Engineering Market Manager with final review of production deliverables and professionally endorse (sign and/or seal) reports, plans, and other contract documents
• Analyze and design all types of structural support designs
• Other tasks as required

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology required. Advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years’ engineering experience required, OSP Fiber experience preferred
• EIT required, PE preferred, SE a plus
• Experience with AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Enercalc, tnxTower, Mathcad
• Understanding of NYC market permitting regulations
• Ability to travel locally

**Candidate will have successfully passed a Background Check. Start date is contingent on client**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
