Requirements:Network Support Specialist Job Requirements:

  • Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and the Office 365 suite including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and Azure AD. Power BI a plus
  • Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience and/or relevant certifications
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and automating basic tasks
  • Experience working independently and with a team to implement larger scale projects
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel up to 50% within the Pittsburgh area

Network Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and support windows-based workstations, as well as printers, mobile devices, phones, and other computer and telecommunications equipment
  • On site troubleshooting of the cabling and IT infrastructure at our properties
  • Primary ownership of incoming tickets through our internal helpdesk
  • Work with the IT manager to implement larger scale projects, such as deploying new software or refreshing site hardware
  • Provide technical direction to teammates on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instruction
  • Assist teammates by developing and providing training on new products and procedures
