Our highly progressive client is a holdings company headquartered in Chicago with offices nationwide. They specialize in direct-to-consumer, highly customizable insurance product offerings. They are seeking an adaptable and innovative Security Administrator to implement and manage the day to day operations of the company’s telecom technology, RingCentral.
This resource will work alongside a small but mighty team and collaborate with leadership to drive the telecom efforts and be the SME for RingCentral. You can expect to be the escalation point for all RingCentral solutions and technical contact for all incidents, requests, and maintenance related to RingCentral.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operation of the unified communications systems, carrier services, and infrastructure technologies
- Responsible for overall vendor management, coordination, and communication
- Serve as the SME expert within RingCentral and understand the capabilities and restrictions of the Ring Central platform.
- Experience acting as point of contact for carrier providers and the organization to schedule installations, activations, deactivations and testing of services/hardware.
- Main point of contact for all telecommunications incidents, requests, and maintenance.
- Maintain documentation regarding RingCentral and the company’s voice infrastructure
- Manage a wide variety of UC & Telephony systems including PBX/VoIP systems, SIP services, IVRs, Auto attendants, Ring Central, Microsoft Teams, conferencing, fax systems, wireless, IOT, cloud platforms and emerging technologies.
- Implementing, developing, and refining process improvements as it relates to the company voice infrastructure.
- Manage telecom budgets, invoices, quotes and communicate with the business and vendors accordingly
- Project manage various projects within the voice domain including migrations from the legacy systems.
- Communicate with end users on defining RingCentral reports
- Develop and gather reports in RingCentral and coordinate with Business leaders and teams to establish solutions and improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field experience.
- Hands on experience with VoIP solutions (i.e., Avaya, 8×8, Cisco RingCentral)
- 5+ years of increasing telecom responsibilities in voice telecommunications background
- Experience with Microsoft O365 and cloud services.
- Understanding of telecom technologies (MPLS/VoIP/TDM/DIA/SDWAN, Telecom)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, creative, and organizational skills.
- Experience with RingCentral cloud-enabled infrastructure models for both UCaaS and CCaaS capabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per hour
