Job description:
As telecom lineman you will perform aerial and underground fiber optic line construction, maintenance and repair of telecom networks. Every day will be different in a dynamic, safety-first environment. The ideal candidate embraces the freedom and responsibility of working outside, overcoming obstacles, and being part of the hardest working team in telecom. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $30 to $40 per hour.

What you will do:

• Operate cable placing equipment, including bucket trucks, reel trailers
• Safely climb telephone poles and ladders
• Read and understand engineering plans and construction prints
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• Work with specialized off-road equipment such as tracked and all-terrain vehicles

Requirements:

• 3 years of telecom lineman experience
• Valid driving license and clean driving record
• Extensive travel in the New England region including overnight stays
• Background check and pre-employment drug test

Location:

• Telecom Lineman is a field position with extensive travel in the New England region including overnight stays.
