Telecommunications Engineer

L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Telecommunications Engineer with our client based in New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for various systems and communications design projects.

Job Duties:

• Provide design coordination and project management support services for Communications and Security contracts
• Coordinate design documents as required
• Coordinate activities with the design disciplines and maintenance divisions
• Identify, track, address and assist the Design Manager or his/her designee with resolution of any technical issues with design

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Data Telecommunications, or related computer degree
• Experience with data telecommunication network deployment or communications application such as CCTV, PSLAN, Laser Intrusion Detection Systems
• Experience in analytical planning or operational, technical and/or administrative duties
• Knowledge of engineering processes and practical experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• OSHA 30 Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $48.00 – $53.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Manhattan, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• software engineering design: 8 years (Preferred)
• network communication systems design: 8 years (Preferred)
• Electrical engineering: 8 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 30 (Preferred)
