OSP Inspector

Pay Range- $25-$30/Hour
Training Pay $20/Hour

Overview
The Inspector will perform one or more field visits to review OSP Work Activities during the project and confirm the level of completeness. In performing construction progress inspections Supplier will review the work activity package and construction progress inspection checklist and confirm which activities have been completed. The inspection will require knowledge of telecom equipment and OSP projects to verify work has been performed but will not require a quality of work audit. Inspection results shall be recorded in a web-based system provided and will include the collection of photographic evidence. For example, the progress inspection checklist may require capturing a photograph of the FSAI/FDH with geospatial metadata. Inspections will be requested during the project and should be performed within 5 business days of receiving the request.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing inspections
• Knowledge of telecom equipment and OSP projects
• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.
