Level II Low Voltage Technician

The Level II Technician role will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the company and the business and families who rely on Midwest AcuTech LLC. This is hourly paid position (wage determined upon experience) that works Monday –Friday 8am-5pm with the possibility of early/late start and weekend work is possible if work load calls for it.

Reports To:

President of Infrastructure Technologies and President of Infrastructure Cabling

Responsibilities:

· Perform cabling installation for low voltage technologies

· Service, troubleshoot and install various cabling technologies (Fiber Optics, Category 6A / 6 / 5e), etc

· Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software and system programs, schematics and operations product manuals.

· Manage daily call activity

· Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

· Manage local work load as well as other technicians on site

· Service, install and maintain door access hardware components, video surveillance systems, premise security systems and others

Travel/Company Vehicle:

· Travel is a requirement based on our customer needs. Every employee and Member of Midwest AcuTech is expected to travel. All travel is paid for or reimbursed.

· Company Vehicles are provided and insured by Midwest AcuTech, if for a reason a vehicle is unavailable to you reimbursement for compensation of use of employee’s vehicle will be utilize based on the state mileage rate.

· Both of these will requirement documentation which further instructions would be provided upon hiring.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· Valid Driver’s License

· Legal Resident

· Low Voltage and/or electrical experience preferred
