Network Analyst

Job Description

Currently, seeking a Network Analyst to join our team and work directly on client projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides end-to-end project engineering and project management for voice/data/video network projects.
• Designs and develops networks.
• Assesses network design and operating characteristics for adequacy, cost-effectiveness, security, needed improvements, maintainability, and applicability to the business needs.
• Conducts engineering, economical, alternative, and feasibility evaluations for the selection of network components.
• Develops technical specifications for the lease or purchase of telecom equipment.
• Identifies sparing requirements.
• Provides technical input and specifications for comprehensive telecom contracts.
• Provides documentation to reflect the work as designed accurately.
• Documentation may include specifications, drawings, trip reports, financial reports, and project progress reports.
• Develops standards and guidelines that promote good operation and maintenance practices.
• Provides professional and amiable interface to customers.
• BA/BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable experience in a related field.
• Experience in the application of IEEE, ANSI, and other technical standards.
• General understanding of personal computers and personal computing applications. Knowledge of data/voice/video networking or computer systems.
• Ability to perform basic financial and arithmetic calculations.

Education and Experience/Certificates

• A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study; or equivalent education, training & experience.
• Four or more years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in network implementation and support.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
