Telecom Implementation Coordinator

Job Description

• The contractor will assist with implementing a new phone system for our Retail Stores.
• They will coordinate the implementation with the site support personal, ensure the equipment is ordered and delivered, and assist with redirecting inbound phone numbers.
• They will provide technical and best practices to the support personnel that are on-site and implementing the phone system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages all phases of telephony implementation and processes to ensure end user satisfaction, project continuity and the timely delivery of services
• Participates in weekly and monthly telecom meetings to provide input on implementation procedures. Answer questions pertaining to Open-Source Telephony configuration and features.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of site implementation
• Responsible for assisting with configuration of telephone, voicemail, and call flows.
• Responsible for managing equipment procurement and delivery
• Responsible for coordinating the ordering and porting of DID numbers
• Responsible for the project’s commitment to quality
• Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of processes & customer satisfaction and optimization
• Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication, and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences
• Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
