Underground Contractors, Inc is seeking candidates for Telecommunication Experienced General Labor positions to be a part of our Detroit Metropolitan Area teams. These positions are full-time experienced general labor, which require good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position may operate a variety of heavy equipment, hand and power tools, clean and prepare job sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, remove waste materials, and carry materials/supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Perform all duties assigned by the Foreman and follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team.

· High school diploma/GED preferred

· Ability to work with a team is essential

· Able to work on foot for extended periods of time

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Reliable mode of transportation required

· Experience on a construction crew preferred

· 1 year experience operating three pieces of equipment

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
• CDL-A

Wage range is $21.51-$27.50 per hour, depending upon experience.

All Candidates are subject to pre-placement drug screening and criminal background check.
