Low Voltage Electrical Instructor

Lincoln Tech, a post-secondary vocational school in Mahwah, NJ, is seeking Low-Voltage Technicians to share their knowledge and experience as instructors in our Electrical Systems Technologies program. No teaching experience required. Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned technicians into successful educators.

Key Qualifications

• 
  3+ years of field experience in ANY of the following:
  • Fire Alarm/ Fire Detection
  • Security Alarm/ Intrusion Systems
  • CCTV / Access Controls
  • Telecommunication and Fiber Optics
  • Home Theatre and Audio/Visual

Responsibilities

• Teach Electrical Systems Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program
• Provide hands-on Electrical Systems Technologies training in our fully equipped facility
• Encourage student growth, professionalism, and accountability
• Motivate and engage the class in a positive setting
• Support and communicate progress with students
• Prepare students for a successful in-demand career in Electrical Systems Technology

• Basic computer knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
