Telecommunications Surveyor

The Telecommunications Surveyor will be responsible for surveying a variety of telecommunication infrastructure, including cell towers, cables, and other physical components. They will be required to visit job sites and gather information to create detailed inventory records and maps. The Telecommunications Surveyor will also conduct tests and inspections to ensure that the infrastructure is up to industry standards and is functioning properly.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a surveyor position or similar
• Excellent knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and regulations
• Proficient in the use of survey equipment and mapping software
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Visit job sites and inspect telecommunications infrastructure
• Document and record data regarding telecommunications infrastructure
• Survey and map the locations of telecommunication sites
• Conduct testing and inspections to ensure that the telecommunications infrastructure meets current industry standards
• Make recommendations to improve the quality and reliability of telecommunications networks
• Maintain all database records
• Prepare detailed reports of findings
