About Us

The Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement is the world’s largest voluntary movement dedicated to empowering girls and young women. We create opportunities and spaces for young people across the world to learn, have fun, make friends, and develop confidence as individuals and leaders.

WAGGGS brings together 152 Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Member Organisations across the world, who collectively reach around 9m young people. While each organisation is independent, all are committed to the shared values, principles and beliefs that, through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting, young people can develop their full potential as responsible citizens of the world.

Through our global Movement, we provide girls and young women with opportunities to practice leadership, to connect internationally and to make change happen.

About the World Centre – Our Cabaña:

They need to be able to develop, implement and provide detailed reporting on strong operational objectives, plans and budgets that ensure Our Cabaña delivers on the strategic vision and mission of the World Centres and WAGGGS.

They need to oversee efficient and effective execution of day-to-day operations, making sure all daily decisions are made with the World Centre vision in mind. They need to ensure high customer satisfaction, and improved revenue for the centre. They need to ensure that the centre is delivering strong, innovative programmes for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world that are transformational, enabling them to connect, learn and build agency, becoming powerful changemakers, who are confident to lead and empowered to create a better world together.
