8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities Performs regular PBX, voicemail and VOIP programming along with any user related training.
Duties & Responsibilities Reviews monthly telecom invoices and route to appropriate personnel for payment processing.
Duties & Responsibilities Verifies telecom work order content for accuracy and dispatches work
orders to technicians for resolution.
Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for telecom billing for work order tickets, departmental cell phones,
mifi devices and vendor business lines.
Duties & Responsibilities Maintains staffing levels for the university switchboard
and department to ensure phone calls are answered.
Duties & Responsibilities Works with telecom vendors to order new phone service and reports troubles on
existing phone service.
Duties & Responsibilities Other duties as assigned.
