ROHL Enterprises Ltd is a long-standing telecommunications and utility construction company dedicated to connecting Canadians in rural, urban, and remote communities. With over 50 years in the industry, we offer year-round stability and opportunities for our team!

We are ramping up for our busy time of year and are looking for reliable, skilled labourers to join our Alberta teams!

As a valued crew member, you will be responsible for the onsite, day-to-day duties required to support our crews and complete our work in a safe and timely manner.

Although experience in the below can be an asset, we will train to make sure ROHL quality is delivered.

Responsibilities

Load, unload and move construction materials around the work site

Execute traffic control plans by placing, removing, covering and uncovering traffic control signs, cones, barricades and other traffic control devices. Direct traffic when necessary

Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials

Using a rake or shovel, spread gravel, dirt, seed and other construction materials over surfaces, leveling, building or decreasing slopes

Ensure work site is organized and free of clutter, rubble and garbage

Other general labour duties as required

Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program

Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have own reliable transportation

Must have CSA approved steel toe work boots (remaining PPE will be provided)

General labour experience would be asset

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to learn

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (50+ lbs)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Additional Information:
Work Rotation: 28 work days / 10 non-work days

Hours: Typically 10-12 hour work days

We offer:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour – commensurate with experience
