The Supervisor, Network & Telecom Projects will provide leadership to a team of Project Analysts managing moves, adds, and changes to the network and telecom infrastructure of branch locations. Manage high touch and high visibility telecom projects including acquisitions, major rollouts, and system upgrades. Work with IT leadership to develop streamlined workflows for regular and reoccurring change activities. Oversee outside supplier’s performance of project work. Work with NOC technicians, internal IT and supplier resources, as well as outside technicians to deploy IT systems. Provide financial oversight of various expenses in the network and telecom areas.

Responsibilities:
Telecom Project Leadership
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure consistent and repeatable project results
- Work with other IT groups to streamline communications and processes
- Lead a team of project analysts handling small to mid-size roll outs, MACDs, and deployments
- Perform regular reviews of open projects ensuring project plans are being updated and risks managed
- Coordinate with other IT groups to manage resource utilization and capacity
General IT Project Management
- Organize and manage high visibility projects (such as acquisitions) managing activities for all areas of IT while integrating with business project managers
- Manage risks and budgets for large implementation projects
- Utilize project management methodologies to ensure consistent project results
- Collaborate with other teams and resources to identity and tack all dependencies and risks exploring mitigation options
- Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Develop project scope, objectives, and communication plans for each project
- Participate and/or be part of continuous improvement activities
General Network and Telecom Support
- Oversee the work of the Billing Analyst to ensure accuracy of billings from various suppliers
- Oversee renewals, reviews and audits of various contracts and services for the network and telecom areas
- Oversee timely approval and allocation of network and telecom invoices
- Assist in budget vs. actuals analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
- 5+ years of complex project management experience
- Minimum 1 year of team leadership experience
- 3+ years of IT project management experience
- Experience managing project financials
- Understanding of a broad variety of telecommunications technologies
- Advanced organizational skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/incidents
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- PMP or Project+ Certification
- ITILv4 optional
- MS Office suite/MS Project experience
