The Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento invites candidates active in Telecommunications to apply for a position at the Assistant Professor level. The post is for a three-year period, renewable once for two further years. The annual gross salary is about 36.000 Euros. The area of research is Telecommunications.
Position n. 1
Requested research duties: they should be consistent with the main topics that characterize the ING-INF/03 (Telecommunications) research area, with special attention to the field of telecommunications and networking for smart city and digital societies. The activity will be developed in the framework of the CN1 Spoke 9 project. The researcher will be involved in the theoretical, applied and experimental activities connected with the studies in collaboration with the research centers as well as associate partners of the related consortium;
Requested teaching duties: they should be coherent with the teaching offer, the University regulations and the deliberations of the Senato Accademico. More specifically, the requested teaching duties will be part of the teaching offer in the scientific area which the position belongs to, and may involve course at the Bachelor, Master and PhD programs of the Department, with special attention to the educational activities related to the scope of CN1 Spoke 9.
Position n. 2
Requested research duties: they should refer to the main topics that characterize the ING-INF/03 scientific area, with special attention to the field of digital health and to the applications of signal processing technologies in that area including, for instance, methodologies for users’ safety, quality of life and lifestyles, inclusion, digital support to fragile users. The activity will be developed in the framework of the Spoke 2 of PNRR iNEST Ecosystem, to which the researcher will also be requested to contribute in terms of scientific management;
Requested teaching duties: they should be coherent with the teaching offer, the University regulations and the deliberations of the Senato Accademico. More specifically, they will be part of the teaching offer in the scientific area which the position belongs to, and may involve courses in the Bachelor, Masters and PhD programs of the Department, with special attention to the educational activities relevant to the iNEST project.
