5G Over-the-air Verification Professional

Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a 5G over-the-air (OTA) verification professional to join our OTA team. As a member of the OTA team, you will have the opportunity to verify and characterize the newly developed cutting edge 5G solutions such as massive MIMO and mmWave in an internal live-air network.

What you will do

Test Ericsson 5G products in an internal live air network. Characterize feature performance gain by analyzing test logs collected from the network and the terminal

Develop test plans, perform data analysis, review test results, write test reports

Enhance Ottawa OTA network to meet ever evolving verification needs

Work closely with systems, software design and product line management to verify prototype solutions

Support investigation and troubleshooting of customer issues

You will bring

B.Sc. or M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2-year telecommunication industry experience or post-graduate degree in wireless communication (or related field)

Good knowledge of wireless communication system.

Passion to learn new technology through hands-on testing activities.

Ability to develop and maintain scripts in Matlab, Python and other programing languages

Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and computer skills

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Wireless communication system design and research experience is a strong asset

Wireless communication software development experience in L1, L2 is a strong asset
