• Design 5G-based solutions and get your hands dirty in our Open RAN labs
• Research and create value-add use cases leveraging network slicing, eSIM management, energy-aware network intelligence, ORAN RIC, ORAN interoperability testing tools, V2X applications…
• Own and drive the solutions, growing and influencing umlaut’s capabilities & portfolio
• Present your solutions to clients in the 5G lab, supporting pre-sales activities
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, innovators and solutioning peers
• Be part of a technological innovation team, cross-functional in expertise
• Become an integral part of a global network of engineers leading innovation in the telco industry

• Demonstrated experience in technical 5G SA/NSA architecture solutioning, and high/low level designs end-to-end
• Strongly familiar with 5G applications and 3GPP standards
• Know-how of Open RAN architecture and ORAN Alliance standards
• Experience in cloud design, engineering, and virtualization
• Expertise in security and private networks architecture/solutioning is a plus as well as open-source software & well-known communities in Telecommunications
• Know-how of ML/AI-based network automation is a plus
• You are objective oriented, and have very good conceptual, organizational and presentation skills
• On top, you are motivated and willing to take ownership of challenges, proposing creative solutions in a teamwork environment
