5G Tower Technician

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED 5G tower technician to work in the installation, maintenance and repair of communication towers.

WE are seeking an experienced 5G tower technician to join our ever growing team.

You will be responsible for climbing, servicing and repairing electrical components on towers and running cables.

Responsibilities:

• Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment
• Ability to identify the tools and materials to properly perform the scope of work within spec
• Knowledge of the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction materials, and working near energized lines and equipment
• Assist in the installation of all aspects of wireless cell site foundations, grounding and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable
• Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
• Installation of up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, true up, shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, reading maps and a compass, torque to spec, labeling, picture-taking, documentation, plumb and tilt readings with smart level, etc.
• Responsible for tool inventory and upkeep daily on job site
• Troubleshoot and communicate equipment performance issues

Qualifications

• Climbing: 1 year (Required)
• Network installation: 1 year (Required)
• Work authorization (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• Rigger Trainging (Required)
• RF Training (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $30.00 per hour
