Account Analyst – Credit & Collections Job Details

Proactive outbound to customers to empower customers to resolve past due bills, prevent past dues in the future, and educate on self-serve options

Account Analyst – Credit & Collections Responsibilities

The Account Analyst – Credit & Collections will:

  • Collect payments / set up payment arrangements
    • Review bill and outstanding balance
    • Discuss payment options
    • Set up payment arrangement if applicable
  • Prevent future past dues
    • Set up auto-pay
    • Educate billing cycles
    • Confirm eBill address and walkthrough
  • Educate on Self-Serve and validate contract information
    • Set up My Shaw
    • Ways to pay bills online, option to request for future payment arrangement
    • Full contract review

Account Analyst – Credit & Collections Must Have Skills

  • 0-1 years of consumer risk experience
  • Telecommunications industry experience is highly desirable
  • Problem-solving, Curiosity and strong Critical Thinking Skills required
  • Diligent and agile while working efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently in a pressured environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
