We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to be part of our Finance Team in the UK for a 6-month fixed contract.
What will you be doing?
Your role will be to assist the Financial Controller for a fixed 6-month contract.
This role fits within Waldon Telecom’s Finance Department and will work collaboratively with the team and various departments.
Waldon Telecom operates as a Wireless Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services.

What will your key responsibilities be?
- Oversee ledger processing
- Make payments via BACS and cheques
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
- Reconciliation of Supplier statements
- Own and action invoice filing
- Data entry
- FPC for all purchase ledger related queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Suppliers
- Review systems and processes with constant improvement
- Lead improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of purchase ledger reporting; with the objective of maintaining the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of existing reporting solutions and being responsible for future reporting developments.
- Ensure related financial reporting is compliant with accounting standards
