This position offers the possibility of working from anywhere in Quebec by telecommuting with travel and presence required on occasion. The person will be under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology and Service Center and will be part of a competent and friendly technical team! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, put into production, administer and operate the IT resources of one or more sites;

Participate in the proper functioning of information systems by guaranteeing the maintenance of the various tools and/or infrastructures, system software and/or communication infrastructures (local, extended, voice, audio, centralized architecture or client/server);

Maintain a permanent inventory of the components of the various networks and recommend possible improvements to management;

Analyze the impacts on the architecture of new installations and integration of new tools in the production environment;

Continuously monitor and analyze performance and implement measures likely to improve productivity;

Manage the evolutions and maintenance of the materials that are part of the overall architecture;

Ensures availability, performance, succession plans, maintenance contracts, legalization of licenses, version of patch levels and documentation for its sector of activity;

Ensure a technological watch for all aspects of the technological infrastructure of communication (switches, routers, firewalls and wi-fi access points);

Install, administer and troubleshoot LAN and WAN network infrastructure equipment;

Install, administer and troubleshoot telecommunication links;

Share knowledge and provide technical assistance to IT and engineering operations teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND SKILLS:
College diploma in computer science, network management;

Minimum of 5 years experience in network and security administration;

Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless and telephony;

Knowledge of Cisco Prime, Cisco FMC and Cisco ISE management tools

Cisco certification is an asset;

Be able to provide accurate estimates and be able to meet deadlines;

Knowledge of ITIL process and other service management frameworks;

Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems;

Excellent oral and written French and a good knowledge of oral and written English;

Good analytical and synthesis skills;

Ability to work under pressure;

Demonstrated ability for teamwork;

Autonomy and demonstrated leadership ability;

Be available to perform support according to an established schedule and travel outside on occasion;

Valid driver’s license (in Quebec).
