The NXP RF Competence Center provides wireless IP and system solutions. We develop a broad range of solutions from low-power narrow-band transceivers and portable communication sub-systems up to high-performance (C)OFDM transceivers as well as high-end broadcast radios.

In order to strengthen the team, we are looking for an Advanced Digital Algorithm / System Engineer. This position is open for an experienced candidate, but we are also interested in less experienced candidates.

Your responsibilities

In the Algorithm and System team the candidate will be responsible for various system- and algorithmic aspects of modern transceiver implementations, including e.g. adaptive RF impairment correction algorithms, digital synchronization and demodulation algorithms, system architecture, HW/SW partitioning, algorithm and system modelling.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

• MSc or a Ph.D. engineering degree

• Some years of experience is a plus

• Good knowledge in digital signal processing especially related to telecommunications

• Experience in state-of-the-art modelling tools

• Affinity with software- and hardware implementations

Furthermore, you are:

• Good communication skills, team player, proactive attitude

• Fluent in English language (Verbal and written)

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
